Memory of the Roots is the defining theme of Kmercht. Kristina's jewellery collection draws inspiration from the legacy of strong, pioneering women in her family. Around the 1980s, her nana, Irene McKenzie, owned pubs across Fife, Scotland, Manchester, England, and Fuengirola and Tenerife, Spain an impressive feat in an industry largely dominated by men. Growing up Scottish and surrounded by the pub culture is a story that will feel familiar to many, reflecting a sense of community, resilience, and tradition. This heritage reflects the strength, independence, and entrepreneurial spirit that Kristina inherits. Her bold, edgy jewellery collection embodies this same daring spirit, challenging traditional boundaries and redefining what fine jewellery can be.
